Temprecord has developed two easy options to download data.
1. Temprecord for Windows®, uses USB or 9-pin Serial RS-232 Reader Interface that is compatible with most USB to serial converters for easy connection to any desktop PC or laptop computer running Windows® XP, Windows® Vista or Windows® 7.
2. Temprecord for Palm OS® application software. This allows users to download, analyse and program a Tempecord logger in the field using Palm® hand helds with a built in serial port.

These two downloading formats along with their respective Temprecord software applications have been designed to work in conjunction with each other, this means that users can download data from loggers out in the field using their Palm®, yet work with the same data in the high-powered Temprecord for Windows enviroment, by transferring the data from the Palm® to their PC by using the Palm® supplied Palm to PC HotSync® software.

Temprecord software is a feature-rich information management system, developed and researched by industry experts that delivers to you the correct information in the right format. Temprecord for Windows® is simple to use and allows clients to program any number of loggers with their desired parameters.

Setting options include user data, upper and lower temperature alarm values, sample period, start after a preset delay period has elapsed or start on date. Loggers can also be setup to enable the on-board push button to start and stop a logger, plus alow the user to mark events on the graph trace using the button by selecting the event markers function. Customised parameters can be applied to multiple Temprecord loggers with only one mouse button click for each logger.

Temprecord for Windows® (TRW) and Temprecord Multiple Logger (MLV) Validation Software allows for the easy creation of effective reports for management and compliance procedures. Recorded data can be viewed and printed in summary, statistical, graph or values table formats to suit. A data file export facility means that information can be exported to spreadsheets or other applications for further analysis or customised presentations where regular Environment Mapping is required.

Temprecord for Windows® is one of the few data recording software programs available that expresses the Process Hygiene Index (PHI), a numerical value that is equivalent to the growth of a microbial indicator organism (E.coli) during a process temperature history. The PHI value reflects the maximum potential for a process to allow the growth of E.coli and similar organisms and may be used with HACCP applications.
